Great Performances!

At the Eastern Region Meet Carolyn Lewis won the pole vault event with a huge PR and a new meet record.  She jumped 11 feet 6 inches, beating the previous record of 11 feet 1 inch. She also jumped 1 foot higher than the second place finisher. 

 

At the North West Region meet Jared Rader won the boys' pole vault title with a jump of 13 feet 6 inches, bettering his previous personal best by a foot.  David Hively took 6th place.  He jumped 12 feet, also a foot above his personal record.
